Developments in Asphalt Additives

This evening presentation will investigate the history of Stone Mastic Asphalt (SMA) from conception in Germany to UK adoption and the emergence of these using constantly developing fibre technology. Rick Ashton and Steve Joyce will demonstrate best practice production techniques with sustainable technical cellulose fibre.

In addition to secondary waste paper pellets the VIATOP+ range now includes a broad range of functional asphalt additives to modifiy asphalt and bitumen characteristics for carbon reduction, reuse and rejuvenation. These topics will be explored and finally discussed with the attendees in a live Q&A session.

A buffet and refreshments will be available from 18.00hrs followed by the informal interactive presentation at 19.00hrs. The event will cease around 21.00hrs.
